Went for the 17/21 euro menu. Four courses for 21 or three for 17. The menu changes daily as all the ingredients are locally sourced. The waitress/waiter reads out the menu orally so if your French is not good you might struggle to understand what you are getting. Started off with a with mackerel Mille-feuille which was very nice. For the main course there was a choice between fish or duck. I had the duck which came with poached apple and avocado puree. I had the 4 course option which came with cheese. Two pieces of soft cheese one of them was Camembert. The desert was a brandy snap with fruit (strawberry's and apple) plus Chantilly cream. The meal was very nice and good value. The service and restaurant decor was also nice.
The room we had was a bit on the basic side but it was comfy, clean and had loads of room. The hotel is very convenient for walking into town with its bars, restaurants and shops. Plenty of parking all around it as well. We arrived on a bank holiday so it was locked up but on ringing the bell a chap appeared to check us in and after that they give you the code for the door so you can get in so no problem. Wifi in the room was a bit hit and miss to start with and the login kept disappearing and but a top tip is go into the corridor and it will find it and once it has found the signal it doesn't lose it when you go back in your room! Overall not a bad hotel and good value.
family (4 adults and two children aged 3 and 5), one Saturday evening, on the occasion of a birthday. my daughter and my son-in-law, who knew the place, wanted to make me discover it. Even if the title of the dishes intrigue at the beginning, both the associations of flavors are original, the result is fabulous.Even the children enjoyed, both for the pleasure of the eyes and the palace! in fact, we must trust the chef. Everything is perfect and we only ask to come back.
this restaurant is one of the best cliffs, very refined cuisine, beautiful presentation, very good reception, a chef who keeps surpriseing us and feels that he loves his job, the service in the room is very well done, we feel very well and we go back to celebrate exceptional occasions (anniversaries, or others), otherwise we would get used too much to this very good table, congratulations to barré scam.
