I want to go back after they are open for a little longer to see how they progress. My friend had the chicken and waffles and the chicken wasn't completely done.. She didn't have the trouble to speak because the outer parts were cooked enough for them and they were already eaten from both sides. I had the steak salad with the potatoes on the side. It was pretty good and had a nice balance, but I think that serving potatoes for another carbohydrate such as roasted bread or crumb would have a bit better. I'm on a low-carb diet, so I didn't notice it, but if I didn't, I think a bread option would better fit it for a more beautiful contrast in textures. I will probably go back some time in the spring to see what their menu has to offer and into their drinks as it is a brewery/distillery. The building and the space are really beautiful, especially the openness that the windows offer. It was nice to watch the snow outside. Anyway, I think another visit can allow a higher review, but I will stay where I am until then.
I visited this place about a month ago and then had the pleasure of coming back a second time. Both times the experience was absolutely fantastic, with waiting staff who really looked after our experience. When I first went, I tried many of her own beers. Today, when I left, I tried some different of their spirits. I bought four bottles to take 10 hours home! Very recommended and wish I had this place back in Virginia.
The food was overall fantastic, I highly recommend the duck fat popcorn. The brisket sandwich was not as flavorful as I hoped, but still quite good. The Cuban sandwich was amazing, I highly recommend that. There were approximately 10 beer to choose from, I don't remember specifics but they were quite well received.
I always enjoyed my time spent here.. The Jalapeno Margheritas are ridiculous!! How wonderful.. Friendly knowledgeable staff good food Overall I enjoy the atmosphere there.
