Original Joe's Restaurant Bar

On par with places like Cactus Club or Earls. Service was really strange. There were a lot of servers rushing around, but seemingly doing nothing. Our own server was very awkward and didn?t seem familiar with the menu. Service also got very very slow at the end and it took over 20 minutes for our dessert to arrive. The restaurant was also surprisingly loud and my husband and I could barely hear each other even though our table was quite small. The wagyu beef cheeks were ok.It tasted very similar to the dish at Glowbal. The pappardelle was overly greasy, but at least the short rib was tender. The cocktails were nice and well flavoured. Overall, kind of a forgettable dinner.

I expected more from this restaurant. There are always waiters running around you, they took my plate away before I finished my salad. The place is very noisy, I think they lack background music to give a better atmosphere. I ordered a hot chocolate and it was cold. The food was okay, but I felt like I was in a car race.

such a great restaurant. so impressed the eating, the wine and the wonderful service. I cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff and how kind they were for all my guests. recommend this restaurant for any business entertaining.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! The calamari, carpaccio (with truffles added), octopus and the feature pasta, being linguine vongole (which is my favourite pasta, so I am biased) we?re amazing. The seafood was fresh and tender.

must get that linguine. the price is somewhat high, but overall really attentive service and spot for eating
