Osteria Chiara - Tisch reservieren

It was lovely to sit outside under the vines in the courtyard at the front of this restaurant, a romantic setting. We had reserved a table there and our enjoyment was only spoiled by neighbouring smokers. As diners from the UK, we found the menu expensive but reduced our expenditure by not having a bottle of wine. I had an exquisitely tasty salmon risotto to start and my husband, ravioli with local sausage,(24&20CHF respectively). Main course for me was two absolutely delicious, large pieces of perfectly cooked tuna with a tasty array of vegetables,(36CHF) and my husband enjoyed a fillet steak with the most wonderful mushroom sauce, (46CHF). The service here is faultless. So, if you want a special meal and you're not on a budget, I would definitely recommend dining here.

Delicious food, welcoming staff. We had three children and the chef specially made fresh penne with bolonaise which wasn't on the menu. Beef steak was tender, the soup was delicate but comforting. Dessert to die for. Walking distance from train station. Not the cheapest meal but well worth it. It's a bit hidden away so you will have to walk up the cobblestones in the alleyways to find it. Chf 170 for five.

Nice courtyard hidden from the main front. Excellent service, menu card is small but has a very good choice. The food was excellent, it's not cheap but if you like good food and service this is the restaurant for you.

Very nice and delicious food! Very attentive and super friendly service, nice location. Thier beef and pasta dishes are super delicious and thier salad is very fresh.

We highly recommend this little gem of an osteria. The osso buco de vitello con risotto zafferano e gremolade di verdure was amazing!
