I had a nice group dinner here with some excellent, real Italian food. We had the stuffed pepper special which was good and the lobster gnocchi special which was just about perfect. I had the ravioli and they were amazing, but couldn't tell if it was served with real guanciale or just thick bacon. Either way it was very good. Each flavor of the gelato was pretty good but it seemed more like standard ice cream to me. Be careful, each order comes with 3 big scoops. The service was fine and it wasn't very noisy in the corner we were in. It's definitely pricey here but probably worth it for the food. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. We also had a weird dress code issue. Apparently patrons can't wear baseball caps in the dining area, but servers were able to wear caps as they served in the dining area.
I'm from Staten Island, so I was in many Italian restaurants, that was by far the best. First, the waiter — I think his name was Bruno – was the best thing you get out of a waiter. Fun, personable and fast. Probably the best service we received in a while. The food was excellent. I ordered the Sea Bass and it almost melted in your mouth. It was cooked for perfection. Another member of my party ordered the Porter House, which was also very well cooked. The appetizers were delicious. I recommend the crab meat and the octopus. All sides were big like the black rice. I loved everything about this place, including the environment that was perfectly lit. I expect to come back with family and friends soon. I am also looking forward to ordering the Tomahawk next time. Thank you.
The restaurant has the ambience and the establishment of a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy a great meal! My dinner was delicious! Damien was very accommodating for all our dinners request... Although we were out of town and certainly not after what the expectation of the restaurant dressed, it should be noticed NIE by the staff, especially the front hosts that unfortunately do not have a poker face as we arrived in T-shirt shorts from the coast... She was a little youthful and could certainly use some instructions with her first reaction... I don't know if her reaction would have been the same if she saw the 2021 Land Rover that we in... you should NOT JUDGE a BOOK BY IT’s COVER... Thank God the food was delicious
We had our engagement party last Saturday and we recommend Osteria. Vic, Megan, and the staff went over and over our expectations that the party was going in a perfect way. The service was impeccable and the food was so delicious that our guests still talk about it. We would highly recommend. Thank you. Angelo to make it a special day.
