Outriders Cookhouse

Who would expect a restaurant with a cowboy theme on PEI? We tried Outriders for dinner. Our wait staff was very helpful and friendly. We also found the menu complete with some good home cooked food. We stuck to bar food and were pleased. From the certificates on the wall, this restaurant is an active member of the community and supports many causes - that wouldn't make up for bad food, but it made us feel we made the right choice. One caution: the bar is not well stocked so if you are in the mood for a cocktail, forget it.

This is the place to stop on your way into Charlottetown or your way back out! Excellent food that's always very consistent and the service is second to none! visited on Sunday for Brunch and it was the first time i have had breakfast there and it was as good as any where in Charlottown if not better!

Stopped in for Saturday morning -breakfast and we had the feeling the place needed some TLC. Did not feel clean or well cared for. The food was good but could not get past the cleanliness. Not a place we will return to unless we here of renovations or improvements.

Great food. I had the lasagna. I have never had lasagna as good as this, including my own. It is made from scratch and is full of meat . Very large portion, served with ceasar salad and garlic bread. Unbelievably delicious.

Worth the visit for the bread pudding which is exceptional. Served with plenty of sauce. Other food is average. Good service.
