Recently stopped by this cookie shop, the young lady helping me was amazing!! I would definitely recommend this place if you ever need a cookie in the downtown Santa Cruz area. However, as soon as I step foot into the building I got hit in the face like a fastball of stench. It smelled like sewage was spilling into the store I was MORTIFIED by it all. But again, great service, amazing cookies but that smell needs to go. ASAP!

The lemon cookies are as amazing as the chocolate chip cookies. They have cold milk to buy, too. They're open late, and there's always a short line because they're a Santa Cruz institution.

Good cookie place, but last time going by, they are closed for renovations. Not sure when they will reopen.
