Paolo's - Tisch reservieren

Paolo’s has always looked worth a visit so decided to go with friends and booked ahead. It is quite small inside but the tables are nicely laid out so as not to be squeezed in. We were cheerfully greeted and offered a window seat with a nice view of the Guildhall City Hall, with menus and a carafe of water quickly arriving. We all chose pasta from the ‘Lunchtime Menu’ that gave a good choice of Oven Baked or Pastas for a reduced price. There was certainly no reduction in quantity or quality, matching a local upmarket Italian for flavour), we all being very pleased with our choices, The drinks menu covered every need and wines were reasonably priced. We had just about enough room for desert which was standard Italian fare. All credit had to be given to our server who was working alone and even though the restaurant steadily filled up managed to keep every table happy with no delays or wrong orders. There was also no rush to move us us along which was very good as it started to pour with rain. Ideally placed in the city we will certainly return.

This restaurant really was a perfect find. Could not fault the food excellent) and the service friendly and attentive). We are not local to Norwich but so wish this place was near us. Congratulations to the staff and chef. The ravioli and risotto were both fantastic.

Nice meal very good service. Had the feel of a small family run restaurant. Will definitely be back. Also what made the evening was seeing the LUTV commentators Bryn Law Tony Dorigo dining here. MOT

Excellent Italian restaurant. Lovely food that was just perfect, not too much oil, creamy sauce or cheese. Good value, great service, easy booking and clean vibrant environment. Great

A lovely small restaurant. Great food and they could cater very well with allergies. Great location for a pre theatre trip.
