Papa's Ice Cream

Seems poorly put together, there are no real menus, just a list of flavors. I stood there looking at the window for a few minutes and could not determine whether or not it was even possible to order a milkshake there. No prices listed, nothing. We waited in line a half hour to be told that the guy 3 people in front of us had gotten the last ice cream cone, and that all further ice creams would have to be put in a cup. Eventually the staff was so slow we gave up and wentdown the street to Dear Hearts ice cream where we could actually get a cone with our ice cream.

Great ice cream, great staff, great owners! Ok hear me out in this... When it comes to soft serve ice cream it's pretty simple, Right? However Papa's has THE BEST chocolate soft serve I have ever had. Now I generally have the hard ice cream and their flavors are top notch. Everyone there is always happy, friendly, and smoking as they wait on you! My wife and I love getting our Papa's and my daughter gets so excited when we mention goin there. Thank you for the great serviceand such delicious I've cream!

Absolutely amazing. Drive through ice cream, what more could you want? Employees have always been extra courteous and the owner works in person just as hard. Just make sure you bring cash as they do not accept cards. Hard, soft and non dairy options are all available. Love small businesses like this!

The most amazing ice cream. Super creamy and flavorful and the handmade waffle cones were a delicious treat. Staff is super friendly. Portions were HUGE. These pics are of medium sized When in RI this a a must go to place and COFFEE is a MUST have as it's a local flavor

We've always loved it here. Great ice cream flavors, happy service and great decor. My niece works here and now I get to visit more often!
