great view from restaurant over the harbour. the round design and the floor up to the ceiling windows offer an excellent view. the menu is not particularly extensive, but gives a reasonable choice. weinlist quite restrictive. the service was pretty slow. it was better than very good, but. this assessment on ta not possible. the service was friendly but cold. the only person in the restaurant did not help the ambiente! weinservice very slow, which also did not help, and served with a chipped glass that I had replaced! the chicken-pazier beginning was nice but a little warm in the middle not hot! the bottle wein was beautiful- ribera del duero- but it wasn't at the table and that upset me, but maybe that's just me? as always, at the main course it was left with me! the lamb tagine main course was nice, but it was rather tilted on the table instead of presented! it was served on a bed of the cousin without vegetables, just plumbing - not very Moroccan! a Moroccan family restaurant would never present a day without a sweet present! it was presented in a traditional dayin, but was hot, not steaming like the norm the amount of the cousin looked negatiw on the taste of the plate. total experience was not very good and so average rating must be! Lamb tagine was good quality lamb but no sweet- not heard in Morokko waiter was just to do his job! overall it is the worst culinary experience I ever had in a paradore! service again missing - I was with empty main dishes at my table for minutes after the end and was the only guest in the restaurant! very poor!
the breakfast is in the regular buffet, but with only guests staying in the hotel, this was not viable and so waoter not a request table service that was very giod. bacon and eggs in addition to jam, cheese, ham and bake. the teepot was very...good- unusual saite for spain. the waiter was great. the evening meal offers a good selection of different dresses. food quality and well presented.
We have enjoyed an excellent family meal in honor of the father's day. Sunday care, phenomenal, attentive to any need. all the delicious food and with excellent views of the city of melilla.
