This place confuses me and it is definitely only hyped up because many other places in Binghamton are simply VILE. This restaurant is no different. Every time I have been there, the food is just never good despite all the good reviews both in person and online . Whether it be the savoury dishes, the specials, or the desserts nothing tastes good here. I have had so many dishes on this menu and wasted so much money I usually do not complain about pricing because I hate when people tell local places what they should price their work as since they should go somewhere else if they cannot afford it but the food is a little more expensive given the portion size if you want to factor in how bad the food tastes . I have had hundreds of vegan meals, but this one takes the cake for worst food I have ever had especially when you factor in the price . I would rather eat literally anything else. I would have ignored the quality of the food if the staff here were at least GOOD at serving. I have been here a couple times because I REALLY wanted to like it since other people were telling me that this place was great and the staff is always so bugged out as if they are on drugs or something. Maybe that is just how some people look but their pupils are dilated and they talk so fast and all of it is just... weird. They also never leave you alone. I have met multiple different waiters as well so I do not know what 's up with that. Although they cannot exactly control it, the location sucks too simply because the area has this weird suburban gothic vibe to it. The vibe is not in a cool boo radley way either, it is moreso in a way where I would not be surprised if a dead body washed up in this area way. The only reason to come here was the Counterpart Kombucha which last time I checked, they no longer sell . Overall... just go anywhere else.
Service was excellent however the food was really cold, looked nothing like the pictures on yelp or their menu and tasted awful. The best part was the buffalo sauce. We had the aptz. Mac n cheese, wings and bagel stuffed with cream cheese and ate almost none of it and left feeling nauseous.
Parlor City Vegan is a small restaurant with a very cute interior. Food is delicious for vegans and non-vegans alike, with many great options (pictures is a Parlor City Crunch Wrap). Good dessert as well. Efficient service all at a good price!
We stopped in this little town on the way to New York eager to find vegetarian food. The food was fresh and the location is near parking. The place itself has a great mosaic floor and roof tiling reminiscent of its long history.
