So many recommendations from friends to come here for food, hearing that this spot had food comparable to Soju Belly. Well, we ended up here on a Saturday night and it was a lacklustre. We came in with a buzz, and continued on with some soju and beer. For a Saturday night at 11pm, this place was a lot slower than I had imagined it to be. Very Korean bar atmosphere and surprisingly clean. Food was Overpriced for what it was.Corn Cheese $13 We needed to order this for our friends first time but if it wasn't for them seeing that price tag for corn cheese is unimaginable.Seafood Pancake $25 Missing some crunch and the lack of mussels in this gave it a pretty soft taste overall.Spicy Rice Cake w/ Ramen $19 The ramen was an additional 3 dollars and they cracked half a ramen portion onto the side. For 3 dollars. Taste was decent and the amount of hot dogs was favorable.BBQ Beef $25 good flavour, not a lot of char and pretty chewy.Overall experience was regrettable. Maybe we came here on an off night but with so many other options I can’t imagine how good the food could be to justify these prices for what we ate that night. It’s a pass for me.
Very fun when drinking with friends. The plates are huge. The fried chicken was definitely the best thing we tried 100% get that. The kimchi rice was also fire. The other dishes we got were the ramen stir fry, gizzard, and seafood pancake. These choices were good but besides the seafood pancake did not stand out like the fried chicken and kimchi rice. Bring some friends, pregame a bit, and order some Soju beers for a good time :
I would rate this 4.5 star since I only had a small problem with the food. All the staffs are friendly and foods were really delicious, perfect temperature. Especially the food portion is a plus.The only problem that I wish they would have made the fried rice less oily as you can see in the picture. I felt a bit uncomfortable when there's too much oil in the food. Beside that, this is a great place for friend and family.
The main reason for 5 stars are for the serving sizes. Seriously, the tofu ramen soup costed $15 but the bowl was huge! The flavor was good, but it was just a little bit too strong. If they dialed it back just a bit then it would be perfect. The chicken is an interesting. The flavor was good but I didn’t like how crispy it was. Overall I was pretty satisfied with this place.
