Pauline's Creamery

As predicted the storm managed to cancel our 5 year olds birthday plans. We needed to get out for some fresh air and a quick bite to eat so headed to Newquay town. Pauline’s creamery window is not one to be missed with all the amazing cakes on show. They have an eating area upstairs which we used. Their food was amazing, staff were lovely and they even noticed it was our boys birthday so put a candle on his desert and sang happy birthday. That’s what I call customer service and attention to details. Thanks for cheering our boy up on such an unpredicted day. 3 of us bought prawn baguettes and a couple of pastys. Absolutely delicious and generous fillings. Very good value and exceptional service. One of our crowd was accidentally overcharged but as soon as we went back and showed them their mistake, they apologised and refunded instantly no quibbles. Lovely friendly staff. Delicious pasty, but the star of the show for me was the sticky toffee and caramel cake (with extra clotted cream). Outstanding! Good service too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
