My husband and I have been visiting this venue on a regular basis for a number of years. We loved the atmosphere of the place and always felt welcome. The last 2-3 times we have noticed a change. The place doesn't get as busy and the atmosphere just isn't the same any more. We are aware the staff have recently lost a very special gentleman but the changes started taking place before this very sad loss. We visited this afternoon and left after one drink feeling most disappointed and deflated.Just not the same any more. So sad
Curry and beer! This place is amazing, great atmosphere really friendly staff and the curry is wonderful! Well worth a visit on North Parade good selection of drinks and fantastic fresh food, the starters are so good to nibble while having a pint. Altogether this place is great, good service, nice atmosphere and location go check it!
Met up with friends Saturday afternoon at Peacocks. It's a lovely little friendly bar with a great vibe. I love the seats and cushions. There's a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices. The rugby was on TV so there was a lovely atmosphere. Our favourite bar in this area.
Lovely indian snacks and great value for money . Mitch the Batman so friendly ,he even let us out the back way because my young son was scared of the Halloween decorations. Thank you
