We decided to try another neighborhood restaurant and passed a lovely Friday, evening, relaxing, eating, doing crossword puzzles and watching life at this inviting eatery. There is also a tv for those needing their sports hit.The dishes were generous and nicely done. I've eaten a lot of vietnamese food and was happy with the quality, especially the pho broth. There were groups of diners coming, going, meeting others and chatting with the friendly family (two teenage children helping out). The restaurant was full, yet we never felt rushed. Renos are finished. Clean fresh decor.The owner was gracious and interested in getting to know us in spite of how busy he was. I think we'll be dropping by this homey locale again soon. And it's a bonus that we can ask friends if they want to join us at Pho King
In keeping with the 118th Avenue revitalization and wanting to support local business we (2) went for a Saturday Pho Lunch. Started with salad rolls (shrimp and pork) which were the best I have had to date. Soft, fresh and very tasty. My partner had spicy beef pho which he agreed by the beads of perspiration on his forehead was as promised. I had the rare beef pho which again was as promised, pink tender slices of beef which I slowly watched cook to a lovely doneness as I enjoyed the pho. Service is very friendly and it appeared the clientele was a mixture of regulars and new customers.

Delicious broth and meat. I had the p3 which was pho soup with beef brisket and beef tendon. Very delicious.Cilantrol,basil,green onions yum. Oligatory plate of fresh garnishes accompany including peppers,lime wedges, sprouts and basil leaves.Also green onion cakes are the best i've ever had.
