My daughter and I ate there on 5/1/24, I got country fried steak with gravy alone with smashed potatoes, green beans, and roll. My daughter had dressing with gravy which she said, was good but the gravy should have been more meaty, the fried okra she had was dried out, very hard and crunchy. She too had green beans and they were very very much so straight out of the can and not seasoned at all and the salt we added, didn’t make them taste any better and overall the food could’ve been warmer than what it was. It should have been hot. One of the servers didn’t even stir up the gravy before putting it over the potatoes and the steak so it was like Luke warm it could have been a better meal if it was hot and the green beans were seasoned instead of tasting straight from the can. A bit pricey for the small amount of food served.
Good southern comfort food. Wide selection. The only place they lacked was in their drink selection. They do not carry Coke zero or diet Dr pepper. Everything was cooked well and at the right temperature. Everything was tasty. Only thing we had problem with was we had to get our own refills. We still left a decent tip even though we didn't get any kind of table service of which to speak. Vegetarian options: They had a large vegetable selection although I'm not sure if it was truly vegan or not. Parking: Plenty of free parking available onsite.
It's a walk through cafeteria line with great food. I had the fried boneless pork chop cooked to perfection and tender. I brought a group of 16 and they accommodated our group in a back room. Place seemed very clean ss well.
It was amazing went there with my girlfriend the only problem was all the old white people staring at us and one even tried to sneakily take a picture of us guess they aren't used to a interracial couple.
