Great experience here with Dalton our server. My wife and I were celebrating our joint birthdays, Dalton was nice and attentive the entire time. The food was great and I was impressed with how fast the kitchen pumped out high quality dishes. That’s hard to do with consistency. My wife enjoyed a Gin and Tonic that was distilled in-house with salmon and red rice. She said it was the best salmon she had ever had. I had a filet with wedge salad, duck fat yukon golds with melted leeks. It was great. The filet was cooked perfectly and the bone marrow butter was a great finisher. We shared the crispy Brussel sprouts and a few oysters. We both enjoyed them and I was honestly impressed with how crispy the sprouts were. The oysters were delicious, fresh and flavorful. The really nice part was since we were both celebrating birthdays, we both got complimentary desserts. $10 a pop, on the house. A restaurant with their stature doesn’t have to do that but it’s really impressive when they do. We’re just two folks having dinner and they treated us like we were Mr. Mrs. Mahomes. It was really nice and we appreciate it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a upscale dining experience in Kansas City. Plus it’s in Union Station, easily one of the top 5 destinations in Kansas City. It’s an all around new favorite of ours for celebrating life events.
Their crab cake eggs benedict were amazing! Much more food than expected. The potatoes were properly seasoned and cooked. We had a large party and the service was perfect! And, certainly not least important, their **** marys (all 3 kinds) were amazing! Most restraunt made mixes are less than okay to me but this was amazing.
Amazing atmosphere and very welcoming service. The food ! Each bite a blissful haze of fulfillment!
Top notch eatery with great food, drinks and service in a wonderful historic depot! Recommend!
