Feeling that we would like something plain and simple, we checked the menu and felt that this restaurant satisfied our needs. It was also on the street side so ideal for people watching. We started with Hot Chilli garlic prawns, and a Ham and broad bean dish. Both were nice, however the chilli could have been hotter. The main courses were a Chicken leg, and a Cordon bleu. The Cordon Bleu was slightly overdone, but tasty, but a small portion. The chicken leg was nicely cooked and tasty. With a 1/2litre of the house white, a beer and water our bill was €43.75. We both felt that it didn’t quite make the grade, and our initial waiter was a bit offhand, however the later waiter was friendly and efficient.
We just wanted a light bite so ordered a pizza to share and a couple of drinks. This review only gets a generous 3 stars because the pizza itself was delicious (though a little burnt on the base), but apart from that I wish we'd walked out as soon as the miserable olives were plonked on the table in front of us by the grumpy waiter/owner. Would it have hurt his face to crack the tiniest smile or to greet us? We felt most unwelcome, but I don't think it was personal. The waitress who brought us the bill didn't look happy either. Other than the pizzas, other food we saw being served didn't look at all appetising. We were glad to finish the meal and leave the restaurant and its unpleasant atmosphere.
Stopped for a pizza to share. Waitress (older lady) was extremely rude, obviously disgusted that we ordered one pizza between two people. We should have left at this point. She then THREW the pizza and one plate on the table. The pizza itself was ok but the attitude of that particular elderly lady was totally unacceptable. Not how you expect to be treated when you are a paying customer. Will not be back
I've been to this restaurant 2 days for lunch on a raw me my wife and my doughter great food good welcome personnel. The menu of 18.5€ per person was great I got it for lunch I couldn't have dinner later I do recommend this spot.
