good restaurant in gandia, with views of the beach, from its terrace. they have a good menu where the paellas and a daily menu stand, which looks a priori good (we ate from the menu in our case). the attention of the staff is very good, both in ease, attentiveness and speed of the service. in our case we ate a sticky rice with lobster (very tasty rice and a lobster with little to grab) mosquitoes (good size and taste) and grilled oktopus with parmentier kartoffels (exceptional). prices, in the average area in general. what I did not like is that a small glass alioli will cost 2 euro or that it will charge it for the ice in the coffee. so general, good.
This restaurant is pretty uninspiring. The valencian salad comprised of a tomato quartered, an onion quartered over a few chopped up iceberg lettuce leaves with a few olives... pretty uninspiring too... maybe a selection of different lettuces or different types of tomatoes, smaller chunks of onion?... However, the pizza was thin, cooked well and tasty. We did see a few people getting pizza takeaways. That might be a better option next time.
Now I'm almost 40...we come to Gandia at least once a year and we never eat somewhere else. Best pizzas ever. Great lunch option (15 euro combo). Great paella but for 2 people.
