Disappointed with online order experience and in-store staff responses. I tried to order ahead online, the portal apparently had problems at checkout. I pressed PAID buttons twice after making the selection, but did not proceed to the next screen. Moments later, I received a text alert from Apple Wallet that I have been charged. I took a screen shot of the checkout screen where I was stuck. At the store, the staff couldn?t find my order and didn?t ?believe? my descriptions of the experience, despite my showing the the screen shot picture and Apple wallet evidences. To add to that, I saw from Apple Wallet that I was charged for the same amount for the 2nd time. The staff showed no sympathy, and asked me to pay for the 3rd time to register the transaction. Though I understand the process that the staff is following, do you think that the online portal experience and the staff?s mechanical response left me with any appetite to pay for a Playa Bowl for the 3rd time? I appreciate the owner and company?s diligent follow-up. The 2 pending charges that showed up on my Apple wallet were not posted, so no refund was necessary.
