Never in our wildest dreams we thought we would find an amazing restaurant in Cambridge, Wisconsin, where we stayed for a short escape from Chicago. PLOW's atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, with jazz music in the background. My husband had the special day, a wildly caught, smoked Alaskan salmon with fresh dill and I had the Auberginenparmigiana. Both ducks were great. The smoothness of the salmon was delicious and the eggplant slices were beautiful and thick with a wonderfully crispy dough. We met Charles and Treena Fiesel, the owners, and they opened them to the wonderful dinners and their furnishings, about 8 months ago. Because we enjoyed Charles’ cooking so much, we returned to PLOW for a 2nd straight night and had its delicately smoked Prime Rib Special and an even more amazing charcuterie plate. Charles and Treena (together with his whole family) have a restaurant that is worth it. Charles brings his wonderful culinary skills to the area, and they deliver so much of their ingredients for their menu from their own local farms. Even after a long, hard day in the kitchen, Charles came out to welcome his customers. He and his wife are warm, Greek and generous people. We recommend PLOW!
