Pokey Okey Anderson

This is my first time at this Pokey Okey location. It is located very close to Metrotown. I made my order through UberEats. It seems like that was the fastest way to get my food. I had Pokey Okey in the past so I know what to expect. The meal was very filling. I ordered the Yellow Bowl for myself. It came with spicy salmon and scallop. The two protein that I like very much. Each bowl came to $20. I also got the Red Bowl that contained spicy salmon and spicy tuna. The ingredients were very fresh. Luckily, I came at a non busy time which was when they first open the morning so there were lots of parking in the front. They have lots of promotion going on from time to time. If you order through UberEat and you spend over $35, you get $11 off. Sometimes, they have BOGO. If you check in on Yelp, you get free onsen egg with the purchase of a poke bowl. Service was good. While I was waiting for my food, I can hear the orders flooding in. Looks like they are doing pretty good. This location is very small. It is meant for take-out only. Note that if the preset bowls doesn't tickle your fancy. They also have customizable bowls. Up to you!Portion size and freshness are all 5 stars. Price is pretty standard.I will definitely be back.

I was browsing different apps to find something to eat and skip has bogo and pokey okey is one of the vendors. Many places bogo is just appy but pokey okey has actual bogo of main dish. I ordered bogo of the medium yellow bowl, total less than $20 for 2 bowls. Skip even gave me an extra $5 discount as they missed me too much. Bogo is hit or miss, some restaurants will give you less per dish when they offer bogo but not this one. Good amount of protein and other dishes. Food was ready when I arrive. Fresh and delicious pokey.

Ordered delivery for Hawaiian bowl and it was the smallest poke bowl we’ve ever had.Bowl was small enough, but there were just a few cubes of fish with tons of rice showing underneath it. No other toppings just a tiny amount of fish, roe, green onions and sauce.Sauce had a strange fragrant taste, not sure if it was fresh.Avoid if you don’t want food poisoning.

I don't usually rate places, but this is just so special that I have to. I ate here once with my s/o and we just keep coming back even tho it's an hour away. The portions are great, the food is delicious, and they've now added a rewards program, which I'm sad bc we ate here a lot before it came out and we missed out, but overall, highly highly recommend :

My wife and I went to this new poke place. My wife had a make your own bowl and I had the Red Bowl. Both were tasty, fresh and yummy. Service at the counter. Bar stools and counters to eat at.
