The 3 stars are stricty for the food, which is delicious. They are indeed, the chicken sandwich king. That said, their drive thru speed needs A LOT of work. I myself, have found it quicker to go into the restaurant to order food. I know it's quicker because when I come out, the vehicle I would have been behind, is STILL in line. Also, they tend to forget the requested dipping sauces. I'm partial to their Sweet Heat sauce and have been disappointed to arrive home and find that the sauce isn't in the bag. Should I have checked the bag at the window? Probably. Should I HAVE to check the bag at the window? No. In summary, food is good, speed and accuracy at the drive thru, not so good.
You are better off going to Chick fil A or just not eating. Customer service is beyond terrible. None (if very few) of the employees wear gloves. A side is literally 2 bites. I ordered the 2 can dine, it was barely enough for 1 person. Its always something, or they will you wait on chicken to cool. Popeyes Chicken is good but this establishment is not. Edit over a month later. Nothing has changed, got served a chicken breast with what looked like an esophagus, very similar to a turkey neck. Employee got mad cause I asked what it was. I hate this establishment
I ordered the 5 piece chicken fingers last night. It was dark and my dome light does not work in my truck so I couldn't see what I was eating. The chicken tasted hard and chewy like cartilage as if it were sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. I ordered BBQ sauce but I did not get it. I thought I would try it again in the morning with some BBQ sauce at home. When I went to eat it, the meat was pink. Undercooked and sitting under a heat lamp for hours. This is the worst Popeyes I ever had. You need to do better.
Was not impressed this time around. Stopped in a couple of weeks ago and ordered family size chicken tender. I ordered an extra side of mac n cheese for the kids and when I got home, I opened it to see a big clump of cheese on top. Like half of the portion was melted clump of burnt cheese. The cup was also not full. It was a large that was only half full. The beans and rice tasted sour.
