Prairie's Edge - Tisch reservieren

Beautiful out door patio with view of the park setting. Food entree selections were ok. They had a smoke brisket sandwich on the menu. When we got it, it was more like corn beef. The waitress even called it that when she served it to us. After we said we ordered the smoke brisket sandwich, she stated it is the same as corn beef. So... makes us wonder ...why it was called smoked brisket sandwich on the menu ? We def would not have ordered it if we knew it was corned beef..so very mis leading on their menu to call it a smoke brisket sandwich . We ordered the german potato salad as a side. It was awlful. Hardly any potatoes in it and mostly pickles. Aside fr the scenery and the good service by our waitress, there are other places in Winnipeg to eat which would have a "true smoke brisket sandwich "

This was our first Sunday Brunch at the Prairie Edge and the service was excellent. The six of us had an assortment of dishes, from the traditional ham and eggs to pancakes to perogies ( Baba's are better) to Corned beef sandwich. Think I'll have to take my wife there on her next Sunday off.

WHAT TO TRY?! The burgers hereThe burger bread is made in house and hand pressed so it's soft and fluffy and tastes delicious.

Union social eatery . I will give it full marks food is amazing Great customer service .
