Press Food and Wine

it was a midweek business trip and I stumbled across Press almost by accident but I am so glad I did. It was unusual with the long tables and tall chairs but i liked it and it had a good vibe. The wine list was huge but sadly I'm off the grog so dived straight into...A very short menu. One page of goodies and different sizes of meal to choose from. All seemed very tempting and I could have chosen several things I liked so I decided that it must be quality and not quantity for the food. I ordered a squid dish and the fish of the day, Tuna. Both were superb, beautifully cooked and presented with colour, flavours and smells to die for. The staff were friendly and attentive without being in your face. This place is well worth a try if you are in Adelaide on your own, in a couple or in a large group. Excellent value and I will definitely come back.

Atmosfera carina e trendy in questo locale con lunghi tavoli social e sgabelli.Difficile orientarsi subito con il menù dove - a parte i piatti di carne grigliata - ogni pietanza è ricca e piena di ingredienti.Ma siamo stati fortunati con due piatti del giorno a base di pesce, forse troppo carichi, ma gustosi. Un trancio di pesce bianco grigliata con calamari e cavolo riccio e un intero barramundi alla brace (per uno) ricoperto di soya anacardi verdure e melanzane.Intéressante la scelta dei vini, anche con diverse proposte al bicchiere.Conto, tutto sommato, ragionevole e servizio molto presente e attento.

Finalmente un ristorante dove si mangia davvero bene, in modo semplice e sano. Abbiamo preso due bistecche: tenere e cotte alla perfezione senza salse e condimenti che nascondessero il sapore. Buono anche il vino. Atmosfera informale, con grandi tavolate. Squisito anche il tortino al cioccolato che abbiamo preso come dessert. Tutto molto molto buono anche se un po' caro, come quasi tutta l'Australia. Ma almeno sono stati soldi spesi bene! Consigliato.

Visited Press* during my holiday in Adelaide. Greeted by a friendly staff who recommended for us to overcome our fears the morcilla (blood sausage), which was excellent! The truffled mushroom and taleggio pithivier was beautiful, with a good balance between crust and mushroom. The blue swimmer crab parpadelle was lovely too - fresh crab, with thinly made pasta. Definitely worth a visit if u r in town!

ci siamo proprio trovati bene. cibo di qualità, servizio accogliente e preciso (cameriera italiana molto simpatica) prezzo in linea con la qualità. da ritornarci.
