This place is super cute and has a delicious menu to choose from. I wish I had tried one of their smoothies or iced teas because they looked super good! Overall we had a good meal there. I got the pad Thai bowl which was huge and my mom got a salad which was also huge. Portions were definitely generous! My only complaint was they told me after our food was already made that they didn’t have the correct dressing for the pad Thai bowl. I wish I had known this before it was all ready and packed up because I would have gotten something else. They were kind to offer a dessert or another dressing, so I got a different dressing (because the bowl definitely needed some kind of dressing! but it wasn’t really what I wanted. A complimentary dessert on top of another dressing would have been probably a more generous offer for an incorrect meal. I also asked for utensils, got forks and spoons, then had to ask for napkins, and then had to ask for knives later. Not a big deal, but as someone who has worked as a waitress and at a counter service restaurant, I know that small things are a big deal. Anticipating customers needs, even when it’s busy, is key to a good experience. Otherwise, you kind of feel like an afterthought. Overall, we enjoyed eating outside on one of the few patio seats and loved the atmosphere of Bordentown. I would return again!
We went for the Valentine's day pop-up dinner and it was really nice. Really thought the interior design had a very rustic vibe to it. I really loved the lightbulbs, had a retro look to them. Actually the inside had that retro look which I love. The 3 course meal was very good and we're looking forward to coming back on a regular day to try more of their stuff out.
Hubby and I finally headed in this morning for some Small World coffee and breakfast. We enjoyed the overnight oats with fresh fruit. The spices and coconut chips was a delicious addition. Highly recommend. We also bought a few healthy bakery items to try later today. A decadent brownie that is made from sweet potatoes. Everything on the menu sounds delicious.
Amazing place in Bordentown with wonderful food. The portobello mushroom bah mi is my favorite and they always have wonderful pastries and desserts. Always love to get their seasonal elixir as well! Will be coming here as often as I can.
