This restaurant is very close to the Mercure Westbanhoff which we stayed at and we ate there on our first night.The first night meals were a Wiener Schnitzel (of pork not veal) which was simply huge, tender and served with a potato side salad and Spinach Gnocci which was a bit of a disappointment as it was "heavy". We noted there was a small translation in the menu - the difference between spinach with gnocci and gnocci made out of spinach. And at 35 |Euros for 2 people with some drinks was good value.We returned 2 nights later for another meal which we much preferred. I had pork tenderloin in pepper sauce which was delicious and sally enjoyed chick breast served with spinach and fetta. (both 15 Euros)
Whilst visiting a friend in Vienna, we chanced upon this quaint corner restaurant near our hotel. Not informed about it or read reviews,we just took a detour inside for a drink. We saw the different dishes coming out of the kitchen and decided to go back for a meal there before we left the city for our Edinburgh home trip.We were blown away by the schnitzel and potato salad which was accompanied by the freshest,sweetest tomato salad we've had in a long time. That alone would have put a smile on our faces, but heightened by the fantastic music being pumped out of the joint.Keep up the great work, food, service and Rockin' tunes !! Highly recommended .
Goede plek om van echt Weense/Oostenrijkse gerechten te proeven. Interieur is oud maar authentiek. Bediening is alleraardigst en vlot. Keuze is groot en flinke porties. Aanraders: Wiener Schnitzel (wagenwiel zo groot) met Kartoffelsalat en Bauern Gröstl (verschillende soorten vlees, met aardappelen, ui, tomaat, sla en ei in één pan).
It's not so delicious, I'm trying to calculate it with a card The card is not...the first time I don't know the card at this scale restaurant... There is no card I'm glad I'm going to go outside the 100 meters and pull it out.It's a great restaurant.
