The back story: During the pandemic, I?d ordered a selection of QC Pizza?s best seller over Goldbelly and was blown away from the complex and unique taste profiles as well as how well they held after flash frozen and ship all the others in the country and set, what happened next in motion; I accidentally came to Saint Paul, MN on a concert tour, and ended up with a chat with QC Pizza owner Dennis, the creation coming! We couldn't do this and the bottom line is: Although the frozen versions I were cooked at home were deliciously made with the best ingredients? there is simply no substitute for fresh pizza directly from the oven! Despite the allures of the newer Taco Pizza or the Jerk Chicken options among many others, we have decided to finish the Kinda Big Dill (which, the QC on the map!, the Big Popper (a Jalapeño Popper inspired pizza with a raspberry glaze, and Dennis suggested we try the?Curd A Roni? And also what was a great idea because I personally always judge a pizzeria by its most basic option of simple cheese. Of course, all three were incredible! So many textures, so many layers of taste? and what was most amazing, how much better the already amazing crust was fresh! The dusting of cornea allowed a crispy soil and pleasing chewing that firmly supported the weight of the plentiful beats above the board! For the uncertainty of?exotic? Pizzen, let me just say the Big Dill is essentially a deconstructed Cuban sans of mustard (but I recommend you try a piece with one for the full effect! and the locally smoked Canadian bacon is smokey sky! The Big Popper does the same for Jalapeño Poppers with the piece of resistance is the above mentioned raspberry glaze! Both are the next level and it is worth exploring as the component is really free? And the paprika with the Ellsworth cheeses? For traditional it is easy to get the last bus stop! I was worried it would be an overdose of salt, but in the end, as with the others. It was the perfect mix. I can't recommend QC Pizza very much! I would drive 1K miles for her back in a heartbeat! Bonus Tip: The local Northern Soda Company?s Cane Sodas sold at QC were just as unique and delicious! The Butterscotch Root Beer, Cherry Citrus and North Coast Cooler were magical refreshments!
