I stumbled upon this place one night as I was walking down the "Camellón." A poster advertising a cine club night got my attention so I decided to check it out. The place is located where a 75-year-old seafood restaurant used to be and the new owner (Peter, from Belgium) very intelligently decided to keep the original decor that resembles a wooden ship. The place is quaint and nostalgic, with a nice retro vibe. It has many seats outside and inside it has some lounge seats, a pool table, a bar and a section with more seats and a small screen where they were playing a movie about soul musician Ray Charles. Alina's caipirinhas where amazing and I loved the fact that the food menu included vegetarian options. Peter, Alina and the cook (didn't ask his name) were very friendly and made me feel welcomed the moment I walked it. I highly recommend this place for its nice ambiance, great drinks, food and service.
Estuvimos buscando un lugar para tener una conversacion amena tomando una cerveza y comiendo pizza y ¡Lo encontramos! La pizza es muy deliciosa, música con volumen agradable al oído y con una mezcla entre reggae, ska y rap, en todo el frente de la bahia lo cual permite tener una buena visual. Y el plus, aunque no lo disfrutamos por nuestro corto tiempo, es la proyección de películas.Definitivamente es un lugar que vale la pena visitar muchas veces.
Music always excellent. The nachos are a must as appetizers. Good craft beer. Have I mentioned how music is awesome and appropriate? They have a pool . Which always sets a good mood. Also they tend to screen movies on Wednesday. What a nice place just in from of the bay.
