My husband and I ate here with some local friends, and even they were impressed! Delicious food all around. They even offered an english menu for my husband and I which is quite rare around the area. I had the tomato soup (which was almost...like tomato sauce yum! , and the white fish in a delicious sauce. The potatoes my meal came with were loaded with parsley which I did not care for, but this is traditional and no fault of the restaurants that i'm a picky eater! My husband had the burger which was as big as his head! This man knows and loves his burgers, and he was over the moon! I would highly recommend this restaraunt to anyone in the area. Great, quiet atmosphere.
Ratskeller is in the cellars of Husum Rathaus. I suggest you go down the short stairs because there you'll be satisfied with your dinner. My wife and me had a delicious krabbensuppe (a soup with small north shrimps) and then we ordered the Fischtopf :...roasted fish fillets in a gourgeous sauce with shrimps again. As a side dish, of course , potatoes and vegetables. Great and not particularly expensive. A good way to end the evening.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We were amazed by the amount of food that came with our order of Jaegerschnitzel. Our side choices were vast and there was plenty to share. Come hungry!
