Ratskeller - Tisch reservieren

This restaurant is located in the town hall cellar and has a beautiful and cosy interior. But I decided to sit outside and enjoy beautiful view to the historical buildings at Market square and its busy late afternoon life. I had an amazing apple strudel, one of the best I have ever eaten. Also coffee was very good. I appreciated friendly efficient service. It is possible to pay by card but at the time I wanted to pay internet connection was too slow that after several attempts we gave up and I paid cash. It is probably better to have enough money in your pocket in this area just in case.

Lovely kellar location, but atmospherics ruined by loud pop radio for the nightclub style bar. Main course stew was blatantly reheated given the congealed nature (and served at very high speed). Despite being one of only five sets of diners the waitress still forgot our wine order eventually arrived some time after the food. Disappointing, and will not return until it invests in its style and staff. It has a great location and with effort could be excellent.

Moderate expensive and ok food. The staff was very helpful, but as soon as the food arrived, we did not see them anymore (it would have been nice to drink something else). My wife loved her chanterelles and the children's meals were good. My lamb shoulder fell from the bone, but was dry and tasted old, the jus were too much reduced and was too salty. Old decor felt authentic.

Walked in to have attentive service and help choosing tasty and plentiful fare. Between us we had a goulash and wild boar steaks. Splendid

Great facilities in the basement of the town hall. Unfortunately, the actual dinner time was not yet available.
