We went to red lobster for Mother’s Day. My daughter made the reservation two weeks ago and when we got there, they said they weren’t honoring online reservations, which was not posted on the website. We asked to speak to a manager and she was very rude. Just start rambling off as soon as you walk up there without even asking what we wanted refused to provide her name, we only stay because everywhere else was going to be packed, but the lobster was tough and so my fried shrimp. They were hard. The drinks on the flight special were very good.
The crew at the Baton Rouge Red Lobster all work together to ensure that EVERYONE is treated as if they are special. This is in no way fake, but actually sincere! We are not regulars. We only visit about twice a year, but the wait staff is always wonderful. The food may be hit or miss, but the wait staff always delivers a fantastic visit!!! Waited for 10 minutes after the bartender went to find the hostess. Myself, a gentleman and a couple waited for at least another 3 minutes to find out that they don’t have a grill master. Not there fault however bad management. To allow there team to work like this. It affects there tips and that is not fair. It’s not rocket science if your team looks bad you all do. And this is not the first time I have been to this particular location.
The entry was a little rough. They didn't have our reservation booked through the app but our server was great! The food ask came out timely and prepared perfectly. It's been awhile since we visited because the quality and service of the chain had really seemed to degrade in previous years. However, our recent visit was great and we will definitely return again.
