We had a fine relaxing lunch on the terrace on a sunny Monday afternoon. What could we have wished for more? It was the height of the summer so the place was packed I think close to 50 couverts. (tip of the day, make a reservation). Well to be honest this set the stage for the staff, as they worked very hard to deliver everything in time on every table. They managed, but that came with loss of a personal note. One at our table was served the starter without a word, while the waiter was checking the table behind us. I was nicely surprised to see the chef at the table to serve the main plate and dessert. OK, let’s focus now on the quality. Our party took the dejeuner option with one exception. The dishes benefit from the freshly available ingredients and I have to say that they were very well done. For mains I had the salmon together with nicely prepared vegetables. I was genuinely surprised that the dejeuner option allowed choice among a myriad of dessert options. Great, well done. One element of criticism, please skip the whipped cream on the dessert plate. The desserts are so well done that the extra ‘fat & sugar’ can easily be done without.
