Still a Favorite. Remington House Inn has been one of my favorite local restaurants for years and this past weekend was a good time to see if they have been consistent with their past. Even a little later into the evening the place was still packed at 8pm on a Saturday. The wait for the dining room was up to an hour but the hostess asked if we would like a dining table in the bar area. Our Martini's were creative and filled to the brim, and our appetizer of beer battered shrimp was so much more then you would expect, promptly served with a tangy honey mustard sauces on a bed of delicious greens. My stuffed veal entrée tasted even better then it looked. The stuffing was a wonderful mix with just the right amount of sausage and Prosciutto to compliment the perfectly cooked veal. Somehow we managed to save just enough room for a cappuccino and a slice of fantastic Bailey's Cheesecake. The waiter was fantastic through the evening making sure we had an enjoyable experience. The Remington House Inn continues to combine a Modern American menu with fresh ingredients and a talented kitchen team to make it a great place to bring friends or celebrate a special occasion over dinner.

Great food, even if you just wanted to get a couple of appetizers and a drink. I recommend the grilled chicken pizza or the Mediterranean salad. If you would like to split an entree or only want half an order, they are very accommodating. A couple of favorites are chicken Napoleon, beef stroganoff. Oh yeah, and you won't be disappointed with the drinks. Towards the weekend they usually have specials which are also fantastic.
