We spend there two nights in January 2019 and loved it. The owner are very welcoming and friendly. The facilities were extremely clean and warm. Originally we were only looking for a campsite to stay the night and consinue the next morning, but when we found this campsite we realized that next to it (about 100m away) there is a cable card that takes you up on the mountain and on the other side of the street there is a swimming pool (about 10m away). So we decided to stay for an extra day and enjoy some snow before we go for swimming. On top of everything, the price very inexpensive, especially for Switzerland. We would definitely be back the next time we are in that area.
Absolutely love this place, apart from being a very convenient for the Gotthard Tunnel and near the edge of Lucerne the owners are very nice and extremely helpful and the site is what I would call ‘rustic’ but you would be hard to find scenery like this on a campsite,the mountains are beautiful and we even went up the one that towers the campsite in a cable car and the views well incredible. this was our second stay and we plan to stop there on our way back too . I used the spotless washing machine and tumble dryer with instruction from the owner. The toilets and showers are excellent and also spotlessly clean too . No food there but there is a bar with great Swiss Beer.
Small, clean and gravelled place near the motorway, but you can't hear it. More like the national road that runs next to the square. But in the evening it is very quiet. Extremely nice and helpful staff and impeccably clean sanitary rooms. My dog was welcome. Self check-in if you arrive outside reception opening hours. Camping not possible. Swimming pool and pizzeria are right next door. All in all, I felt very well looked after while traveling through and can absolutely recommend Remo Camping.
Kleiner und schicker Campingplatz mit wirklich gutem Service. Die Lage des Ortes ist gut für lange Spaziergänge oder Wanderungen. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und sauber! Wir verlassen einen da und können absolut empfehlen Remo Camping!! Jens Connie
