in the middle of the beautiful village langnau stands the magnificent gasthof hirschen. whether in the Hirschen-Bistro, in the à la Carte-Restaurant or in the banquet hall, you can find something after its taste everywhere. the kitchen mainly uses regional products. the host, hedy and urs weyermann with their team serve their guests very attentive and with great ease. the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. in a bankett, the "Emmitaler-Dessertbuffet" from the marital stand is the absolute hit. for many years we have always been very happy to visit the brains. there are also plenty of parking spaces and a garden economy in the summer.
Unterwegs beschlossen wir spontan, im Gehirn noch etwas Leichtes zu Mittag zu essen. Zum Glück war auf der Sommerterrasse gerade noch ein Tisch frei. Wir bestellten einen Rindfleischteller mit Salat (anstelle der bereitgestellten Pommes frites) und Spaghetti auf mediterranem Gemüse. Der Service war flott und freundlich. Die Gerichte waren wunderschön präsentiert und schmeckten ausgezeichnet.
occasionally I go to the hotel to eat. very cozy, very good kitchen. actually everything for satisfaction. I just wonder why a country inn with some high-priced food offer will knock off the guests chf 4 for the 1/2 liter hahnenwasser? we had a kalbs cordon-bleu (chf 40,) rehschnitzel (chf 50,) beer and wine and coffee. have eaten and drunk and the hahnenwasser was extra charged. Pity!
We went here with a group of more than 10 people. The service was fast with friendly personnel. Even though the restaurant was full with people ordering and eating, the service person was friendly and answered all our questions cordially. This is a good place for big groups or for a date. They also have room to stay overnight.
