Restaurant Italien des Arcades

I don’t know why I do it…but I always suggest this place to family and visitors but have constantly been let down. Including my last review when I took my sister and family. Last night I suggested this place to friends….result, a pasta dish they were served contained some large shards of glass…as did 2 other tables around them. The waiter (mr charisma) was very flippant about it all when the issue was raised! Not sure what the outcome would have been had somebody if swallowed it. There was no recall on the pasta dishes they’d served! Just maybe kept their fingers crossed hey. Wow!

It is a very spacious restaurant with a large terrace under the arcades of the Bastide. It is very good Italian cuisine, traditional, with a map provided enough. The service is perfect. The atmosphere is very warm as everywhere in Eymet.
