We arrived at the Asparagus on a very very wet Saturday night, on arrival we recieved a very warm welcome which was lovely.There are a couple of diffrent menus one at 26 euros another at 35 also an a la carte menu good selection on all . The food was delicious presentation excellent all served with a smile.The lady who looked after us was extremely helpful explaining things we did not understand .All the starters were beautiful the mains followed again delicious and finally 5 excellent desserts. Lovely night we will definitely be eating here again.
Fantastic experience We got a lovely welcome and service throughout was excellent. Spacious well decorated and clean restaurant. We sat inside as we were not sure jif there would be the traffic noise on the terrace from the nearby road. We started with an Amuse Bouche of a small portion of cold tomato soup. Starters were gambas and duck pâte, mains, slow cooked lamb and duck, finishing with two good desserts. Really good quality food Three course menu was €27 each. Great value. We will be back.
L'Asparagus is on the outskirts of Valros and, like many good restaurants in France, situated in an unlikely spot, slightly industrial and therefore easy overlook and drive past. Don't! It was three years ago that I met up there for lunch with friends and enjoyed a really delicious meal. There's a terrace outside and the service is charming.
The main thing to note about this restaurant is the excellent food at a very reasonable price for the quality. We sat outside on the terrace and the tables were nicely spaced with plenty of room. Although next to a road, we barely noticed any noise. I would strongly recommend eating here.
