An excellent location while staying in Lucerne with the Lake Lucerne, Lion monument, Kapelbrucke and other attractions quite close by.We arrived at the hotel almost four hours early than the check in time and Natalie who was the reception at the time was sweet enough to check us in early.The rooms were clean and the breakfast which was included in the fare was quite good. They do need to do something about the bathrooms, they tend to flood with water and it's quite clear that they need get the bathroom curtains, partition or the drainage sorted. They have chosen to get a small notice printed and laminated instead that warns guests of the consequences of getting the room floor wet. They would create a better experience if they sorted out the bathroom drainage etc. Sorted instead.Overall a very good experience could have been excellent but for the small niggle mentioned above.
Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a short tour of Switzerland. Small, but comfortable room. We were half board and the meals were very good. It also added to the experience by eating in the restaurant, which was open to the public, so it was always fairly busy and you didn't feel like you were eating on your own, which you can sometimes do when half board. Expensive taxi from the train station - 13 francs ( 3 minutes in the taxi) we walked back in 10 mins! Top tip 1: ignore the taxi rank and walk.Top tip 2: put your phone away and LOOK at the cracking views.Top tip : hold your partners hand and enjoy yourself.
Dès l'arrivée l'accueil chaleureux par le propriétaire était apprécié. La chambre d'une bonne grandeur avec côté salon et pas de moquette! :-) c'est très propre et bien situé 10 minutes de la gare et à proximité de tout.
