Restaurant le 50

We’ve eaten here a few times as we’re based in le pre bas campsite and it’s mins from our doorstep. There are a few different offerings- the one we enjoyed was the regional cuisine and it was delicious, hams and cheesy potatoes what more...can you ask for? Service is excellent and the staff make every effort to help with any language barriers. Beautiful view from the restaurant overlooking Lac Chambon and an open air section for the warmer evenings.

We enjoyed our family meal out at the restaurant, but as it was so busy we did not get our deserts until after we had reminded the staff that we were still waiting, and we also had to remind them to bring our coffees, and...then we were charged for more than we had taken. However, the was no arguments when we contested the bill, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Childrens menu had plenty of food, and the ice creams were delish.

Wow what can I say. This restaurant/bar can not be missed. Situated near the beach on lac chambon. Portions are enormous. Menu is filled with rich cantal cheese creations. Family friendly. I recommend ordering half of what you think you'd eat or consider sharing. The...children's menu meals were even too large for the adults. Wonderful ice cream selection. Make reservations during high season.

Awesome atmosphere fantastic food. You must try the steak wit truffade it is wonderful! Thoroughly recommended for a warm welcome and a fun time
