Restaurant Le Rouge & le Noir

This was the first restaurant we came to on the walk down the the centre of town and it happens to be one of the best we went to. The red wine was good, had the local gamay. This was the first time we had a Raclette and wasn't disappointed, put us in a cheese coma. It came as a half wheel of cheese where we tried other places just have a little block. Which is just a novelty but looks more impressive. Highly recommended. Set our trip off we'll to les deux alpes. The waiter was decent, good service.

Great restaurant, a mix of traditional and modern French cuisine. Felt a little awkward at first, being a group of brits walking into a place full of French families and groups but the staff were welcoming.One of our group had the scallop wok and was disappointed at the lack of scallop but everyone else loved their food. I'd recommend the duck or the 'cheese box' I think they called it, a kind of baked local cheese.

We went here with another family, age range 6 to 65. All found something to really enjoy. The staff were friendly and engaging. The raclette was great and the children were well catered for and welcome. Would recommend and happily go back.

We had a raclette which was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The desserts were also delicious
