.Victor in the dining room and his partner Philippe in the kitchen provide the best-value, quality and copious meal we have ever had in France!There are various "formules" - combinations. Basically what it boils down to is that you can have the first course Buffet, the main course Plat du Jour and the dessert for €15.90. Or any two or even just one of the three for a slightly lower price.Nice clean modern dining room, tables well spaced. Big buffet table. BIIIIIG buffet table - I counted more than 40 items there - see my photo.All lovely stuff too.Then there was a choice today of 4 main courses: Kidneys in wine sauce, Poultry in mushroom sauce, Bavette and Roast Lamb. With a choice of 7 different veg. I liked this. Often you can only have the mash with the liver, or only the spinach with the beef. Here you could choose from a list of 7, all of them very tempting.Then a choice of 4 or 5 puds - Floating islands, Dark chocolate blancmange, Tiramisu, Fromage frais with fruit coulis, and something else that I cannot remember.There were two main problems here in this restaurant.Firstly - choosing! Everything sounded so lovely, we wanted it all!Secondly,eating. Although we deliberately took very little indeed from the buffet, we couldn't manage the very copious main courses and had to leave some.Paying, however, was no problem at all. 2 meals and wine for €40. What's not to like?.
