Restaurant Prafandaz

We booked a table at this restaurant as it was the only place to eat at this location. We reserved a table fo 13.30 hrs and eventually got our drinks (after several requests) at about 14.30. We got served our lunch at about 14.50 and had desserts or coffee at 14.25. The food was not cheap at about CHF25 for a basic main course dish, CHF9 for a dessert, the wine was a carafe rose at CHF18 for 1/2 litre. Service was very slow and food average. It was a very pleasant mountain side location and worth the visit but would hesitate about making a recommendation as a place to eat.

If you are looking for an authentic Chinese Fondue (hot pot), this is the place! The food and service was magnificent in a truly beautiful setting. We have also eaten a cheese Fondue there which was outstanding, we can only recommend the place most highly.

New owners, great beginning! Restaurant with a great terrace where you can eat like at home. The future reserves some surprises like Chinese specialties. I had the Dim Sums (Chinese raviolis) and the Chinese shrimps: very very good, thank you!

The new owners tried really hard but were obviously new to the restaurant business. Prafandaz used to be known for their fondue, now the selection is down to 2 versions which us perfectly fine) but the quality was just average.
