The golden arches rose up with the children of school holidays on a Friday night, so I decided to go up a little bit higher for my burger. I went there with the grilled texas because I saw some motorcycles parked outside and I thought the company of some other bikers could be pleasant after two days on the road alone. They were to belong to the staff, because the only other people in the restaurant seemed to be older couples who stayed at the adjacent hotel. I was staying in an economic hotel about 100 meters away without a restaurant, and I was hungry. I could see that there was a salad bar that would have interested me a lot, but unfortunately, my very bad French made it impossible for me to make the waitress understand that I wanted to try the salad bar and a burger. She was bravely struggling to understand, but at the end, I just went with the double-dip cheese burger and a water carafe. Although trying to drown my sorrows and get me bombed with tequila, my struggle to acquire food began to touch me. I heard the waitress consult another staff member to get help in dealing with my lack of French, and she received a basic English phrases coaching, but it didn't really lead us to something useful, and I was happy to simply get the hamburger. because it was worth the effort I had made. It was really very tasty, I don't know what cheese they used in, but it had to be local, because it wasn't the usual American type of cheese. it was definitely French cheese: great for the least. very tasty and very rich, the burger cakes were massive and fleshy. I never use a knife and fork for hamburgers, preferring to use my hands, but I had to cut it into neighborhoods to eat it, and even then it was incredibly messy (and delicious). a wonderfully huge portion, accompanied by fries, which I had to love, because I ate most of them. It is not a chain, and although the decor is pleasantly familiar in this style "American dinner", I cannot guarantee the Mex-ness of any food, I suspect that it would have a distinctly French flavor, although I can not see that it is a bad thing. I think this place would be good for most people who want the familiarity of an American diner type place, because it seems to be for young people (large musical screens - entertaining but not too intrusive, thank god) as well as for families with children from various backgrounds. ages (children) and older customers as well.
I was looking forward to having a good meal after I was on the road and I saw the grilled texas at the hotel. That's exactly what the doctor ordered me to think! So I ordered a hamburger with cheese and fries and they could have given me a living cow so raw. I explained that I wanted it to be cooked more and I recovered the same hamburger but just burned out and having the taste of a little rubber and with regard to fries, I saw more in a children's meal!!! avoid!
dinner is on the theme, we had excellent burgers handmade, on Friday night was mussels and fries, well supported by the inhabitants. breakfast was typical but generous continental and eggs were freshly prepared.
we stayed in the hotel to which it is attached. It's a tex mex theme but doesn't do it quite. prices not high. friendly service and good.
