Restaurant Tiroler Stuben

We fancied something a bit different for dinner while on a snowboarding holiday in Mayrhofen and found Tiroler Stuben via Google / TripAdvisor.We phoned at 5pm and were able to book fondue for two that evening at 7pm. Also very glad that the person who answered the phone spoke good English - making it easier for everyone involved!There was so much cheese and it came with a nice selection of pickles, veg, bread and potatoes. At €19 per person for the fondue it was a little more expensive than what we had been used to paying in the area but worth it. We also had starters which were very tasty. House wine and prossecco was very reasonably priced.

We descovered this restaurant for the first time this year after many trips to Mayrhofen and I have no doubt we will be going back on many occassions, Having been told by many restaurants on the high street that Fondue had to be pre-ordered due to it being time consuming we were suprised to see it on the menu here as it was one of the busier establishments, but no notice required they delivered the most incredible Fondue and the Chateaubriand was pretty impressive when we returned later in the week too.Very much on our list of favourites for our annual Mayrhofen Ski Trip each year

This restaurant on the edge of town seems more authentic and friendlier than most.We were made welcome and soon seated comfortably. The menu was extensive but easy to navigate. Service was friendly and efficient. The porcini soup fantastic. As it was autumn local mushrooms featured well on the 'specials' - the chanterelle pasta was also superb. A litre of the house red was perfect, forgot to get details of its origin. Maybe we should gloss over the local schnapps.The bill seemed reasonable.Recommended.

We wandered to the edge of town to hunt this place down (restaurant is called Landhaus Clara/Carla for fondue & traditional cuisine & certainly weren't disappointed. The restaurant is really lovely, great stag themed decor! And lots of little bays to keep privacy levels but contribute to ambience still! Staff were lovely & god was tasty & reasonable. The fondue was awesome! Definitely make this a stop on your post ski refuel mission!!

This was our second favourite restaurant we ate at during our holiday. We came here twice and had a pleasant meal both times. The food, service and atmosphere was really nice. Highly recommended
