This restaurant was one of our most popular in Zurich. It is very vegetarian friendly, which is sometimes a special challenge in Switzerland. But not here! Both the veggie menus and meat menus offer a great variety and are especially thoughtful and... a good mix of creative and traditional. The lentil pottery and seasonal veggie mushroom dishes are particularly delicious. Recently my husband and I had the suprise Menue (a veggie and a meat) and here again we were not left down, on the contrary! Although they travel the world and live in different places in the world, they made the most tasty falafel we've ever eaten. You also welcome you with a very personalized map, in line with the theme White Wind Restaurant, if you have booked in advance. We love to come again and again and would recommend the White House Wine. We are aware of how hard it is to get good employees, especially after Corona, but we realized that some of the male waiters are pretty overworked and sometimes forgotten. But not a big deal as they are friendly. However, we are always looking forward to having your waitress, as she is more than excellent and makes our stay special.

We had a great tasty meal which was nothing to complain about and I would recommend however when I presented our older waiter with a 100CHF note for our 68CHF meal he pocketed it as my wife asked him where he was originally from, 'Bangladesh '...he said as he moved his attention to her and offered no change! I confronted him and he denied I gave him that much showing me lots of notes but no 100. After continuing to confront him he gave up the change along with many excuses that he thought it was a 'tip ' etc. This was no mistake and he clearly tried to steel from us. First night, lovely meal, terrible experience!!!

Great Swiss Restaurant in Zurich. Excellent food and service. We came here after spotting it in the street. It proved much much better than tourist restaurants with more ratings.
