Restaurant "Zum Christophorus"

By accident we ended here and did not regret. What a place!! A wide menu but we seemed to be unlucky upon ordering lamb. They were out of that but recommended chicken in a spicy sauce(Yambalaya). As other people also write; it...takes time, but indeed is worth the waiting!! So good we almost licked our plates in the end. Spicy as promised but obviously home made(which they claim). 4 glasses of white wine, 2 bottles of water(sparkling) and 2 Yambalaya=EUR 46, . Quite ok. Thank you very much

The place has a good view in and out. The lady who took us was really nice and friendly. The food was also very delicious and not so expensive. I think if you are welcome in a restaurant, the food tastes better! Because it's my place to eat in Cochem.

Wirklich ein gemütlicher Ort und hervorragendes Essen! Man sollte sich nicht beeilen, man wird sehr langsam bedient, aber das Essen macht das wieder wett! Alles ist wirklich hausgemacht. Nehmen Sie sich Zeit, trinken Sie etwas Wein und genießen Sie

.....aber nur, weil die deutsche Fußballmannschaft spielte. !! Doch obwohl die Mitarbeiter das Spiel auf einem großen Bildschirm im Speisesaal verfolgten, nahmen sie unsere Bestellung entgegen und bereiteten ein köstliches Essen zu.

Came across this place by accident and the menu out front looked good. Had the schnitzel and it was very good. Service was also very good. Local wine, of course, was excellent. Price was a good value
