This was the second time that I brought a group of more than 40 people to this fantastic restaurant on the banks of the Rhine. I thought it was something we were here two years ago, and I seriously believed that the great meal we had there would not have been better. I was wrong. We came and everything was decorated in a Christmas theme, the ambience was more than welcoming and after decommissioning we were served our goose Christmas dinner, which not only saw appetite, but that tasted more than excellent. The soup was tasty, the main course was juicy and the 3-part desert was more than expected All our group loved it. The staff of Rheingenuss was friendly and helpful and the whole restaurant was spotlessly clean. I can only say: Thank you Rheingenuss, we will be back and there is no doubt that we recommend you to everyone visiting the Niederdollendorf Koenigswinter . .
The Rheingenuss is located directly on the ferry to Bad Godesberg to Niederdollendorf Königswinter. It has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Rhine and is fabulous for drinking beer in a sunny afternoon. The food is typical of the regional North Rhine-Westphalia. We enjoyed the sky unearth (a blood sausage served with potato and apple puree, don't let the "blood sausage" scare, it's delicious). Also the Rheinischer Sauerbraten in raisins almond sauce, including potato dumps and apple compote, is delicious and highly recommended. They also offer seasonal specialties, such as a special fish menu around Easter.
Rheingenuss. Nachdem wir vor ein paar Monaten wieder dort gegessen hatten, hatten wir am Sonntag dort eine kleine Familienfeier abgehalten. Auf der Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf den Rhein konnten wir das ausgezeichnete Restaurant genießen. Ob Rheinische Spezialitäten wie Himmel und Ägäis oder Rheinischer Sauerbraten, Zanderfilet mit Kartoffelkruste oder Garnelenpfanne, auch für die Freunde des Vega gibt es hier etwas Leckeres zu essen. Freundlicher Service, schönes Ambiente und gepflegte Getränke absolvierten einen wunderschönen Abend. Bitte beachten Sie die Öffnungszeiten im Voraus.
The restaurant has a very nice view over the Rhine and the ferry to Bad Godesberg. We couldn't use the ferry as we wanted because of a technical failure and had to eat here. Traditional dishes are well prepared. Very good deserts too. Service is friendly. Not too expensive.
