Arrived at 10pm and although the kitchen closes around that time, the staff very obligingly cooked us a lovely meal. We had Gnocci with salmon and prawns and I have to say it was excellent. Lovely taste with the Gnocci cooked precisely right. It smelled...and tasted delicious. The restaurant was just off the market square beside the small bronze statue of the woman and child, not actually on the square itself. It is behind La Corona restaurant (but much better!
The world is full of it- 'Italian ' restaurants. We tried pizza for lunch. A little over-priced. Service good enough. Extra charge, 0.5 euro, if you change the configuration on the pizza- in our case add onion... Spicy tomato sauce, and other ingredients ok but, you...had to dry up the pizza from grease/fat before eating it... Would we go here again? No, we 'll try another.
We have eaten here twice this week, the menu offers a wide range of Pizza plus a range of pasta dishes the quality is good the portions are generous this restaurant offers excellent value for money on it’s food and wine.
Friendly staff and the entrees were very good the beef carpaccio was one of the best I had ! I enjoyed the lasagna and my wife liked the prawns on brandy sauce very much.
