Riva - Tisch reservieren

Mein Mann hatte hier als Überraschung zu meinem Geburtstag ein Abendessen geplant. Von dem Moment an, als wir ankamen, war alles perfekt. Wir sind neu in Deutschland und lernen die Sprache immer noch, aber bei unserer Reservierung wurde vermerkt, dass wir Englisch sprechen und alle Personen, die an unserem Tisch sitzen können, Englisch sprechen. Eine kleine Sache, aber zur Kenntnis genommen und geschätzt. Es ist ein sehr modernes Restaurant, aber nicht protzig oder spießig. Um ehrlich zu sein, das Essen war ausgezeichnet, unsere 4-köpfige Gruppe war mit unserer Auswahl äußerst zufrieden und konnte am hervorragenden Service nichts auszusetzen haben. Der Nachtisch war ein Highlight. Ich bestelle sehr selten Creme Brûlée, da die meisten Restaurants es schaffen, dieses einfache, aber köstliche Dessert zu vermasseln. Das war die beste Creme Brûlée, die ich je gegessen habe, und glauben Sie mir, ich bin sehr wählerisch. Gut gemacht, Riva, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Du hast dazu beigetragen, meinen Geburtstag noch spezieller zu machen.

On the terrace in the sunshine what more could one ask for? The professional waiting service was excellent apart one very aloof male floor manager The food was very well presented with a good combinations of textures and flavours and was very bistro in style. A very relaxing way to spend an evening and if one is seated at the back of the terrace a superb people watching opportunity.

Having eaten here twice I can say that if you're visiting Konstanz this is a place to come and eat. The prices aren't over the top. The service is very good. The terrace over the lake if you're lucky enough to come here when the sun is shining is beautiful and the food is beautifully presented and very tasty indeed.

Riva is where we also dined for breakfast and we thought it was great. But our dinner was a bit of a disappointment. The food was just ok, and it was one of our pricier dinners too. The setup was the same for breakfast seating and lacked ambience for evening dining. Great customer service with attentive wait staff.
